Harry Reid said WHAT to Alan Grayson's face?

Looks like @SenatorReid has had enough of Grayson https://t.co/bA1hnKssMv

A House Ethics Committee has extended its investigation into progressive Rep. Alan Grayson’s Cayman Islands hedge fund dealings, and Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid has called on “disgraceful” Grayson to end his run for the Senate.

Reid confirmed that he’s not a fan of Grayson in person today:

In Progressive Caucus meet, #FLSEN hopeful @AlanGrayson attacked Harry Reid for calling on him to drop out over ethics scandal, sources say

Reid was guest at meeting. Grayson read quote Reid had made about him and Cayman Islands issue. "Shame on you. It’s not true," Grayson said

Reid immediately replied to Grayson: "It is true and I want you to lose"

Progressive Chair @keithellison tried to stop Grayson from going after Reid: "Why are you doing that? This is so stupid," Ellison said.

But according to Grayson, it’s the establishment that’s corrupt:

You may be wondering why the corrupt Establishment is so hell bent on defeating me. The reason is simple: they don’t own me. They hate that.

God forbid that voters might choose someone that our party elites might not want – someone who is not as corrupt and feckless as they are.

More from Grayson: Reid is "too heavily invested in the Republican sock puppet he's calling a Democratic Senate candidate" to be truthful

Calling out the Establishment is never easy, and it's not always polite… (1/4)

I had a rare moment to challenge the lies that Sen. Reid has spread about me, and… (2/4)

Reid made it clear that he's too heavily invested in the GOP puppet he's calling a Dem Senate candidate to consider the truth… (3/4)

Sen. Reid ought to learn that ‘I want you to lose’ is no excuse for a gross smear. But the air is cleared. (4/4)

Grayson’s really not the one to whine about “smearing.” Meanwhile, Harry Reid will somehow probably find a way to pin this whole flap on the Koch brothers.
