As we reported yesterday, a University of Missouri board has voted to fire assistant communications professor Melissa Click for her actions during a campus protest in November.
It’s now being reported that Click told university personnel investigating the incident that she sought “muscle” to remove a student reporter from a media-free safe space out of concern for her safety:

Click was later reported as saying she never believed the student reporter definitely had a gun, but that “he could have.”
If Click thought the person might have had a gun, her reaction was bizarre:
@instapundit So, she didn't call the police, she called other students. Didn't appear threatened and was the aggressor. SJW typical

@instapundit @CollegeFix She thought he had a gun, so she asked another student to come and confront him. Got it.

Odd, isn’t it?

Of course she did, because that’s a common fear people have of student journalists. https://t.co/cmAbT75JsG

Former safe space enforcer Click has also been charged with 3rd degree assault because of her actions during the protest.
