'You hacks': CNN's attempt to play politics with #MLKDay 'fails so hard'

It’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day in America, and CNN dragged politics into it, along with another small problem:

No, MLK wasn't a Republican. That and other King myths debunked in honor of #MLKDay https://t.co/I7biY9LDKz pic.twitter.com/JZ47GiM95W

First of all:

@CNN The given link is about something other then the headline.

This article isn't even about MLK. It's about space flowers. #GoHomeYoureDrunk https://t.co/FEWy7m0rAT

@CNN or "how to politicize a figure who stood for unity", as told by CNN.

@CNN Link is wrong story. Martin Luther King Did Not Publicly Endorse Either Party. HE KNEW HOW to work with both sides, unlike the clowns

1. Your headline is a lie.
2. Your link is about space flowers.
3. Somehow that makes sense, because it's CNN. https://t.co/MpGHoCw44M

Desperate apologists for African American standard of living decline under Obama. Liberals know MLK would out them. https://t.co/l4Bv5dwqzK

Nor was MLK for abortion and gay marriage, so he was more in line with GOP on social issues! THAT's the point! https://t.co/EFf0WeXpoo

@CNN again making everything about #Republican vs. #Democratic #gimmeabreak #smh even something as awesome as #MLKDay2016 #clickbait
