Brian Stelter, the host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” came to the defense of the New York Times after part of an article that exposed Obama as completely out of touch was deleted from the story.
The Washington Post’s Greg Sargent joined Stelter in taking the “nothing to see here” approach to the Times’ deletion:
@RadioFreeTom If you want to continue to believe the NYT cut it as part of some grand conspiracy, you do that, and I'll politely edge away

Ace of Spades dismantled journos’ kneejerk defenses of other journos:
.@theplumlinegs, if one is utterly unwilling to even *suspect* an org of any wrongdoing, how can you claim no bias? https://t.co/B1E8VqTcBi

is the conviction from the first second of motives of perfect purity not a glaring admission of bias? https://t.co/B1E8VqTcBi

And they are possessed of a religious faith in the perfection of Obama such as to render them immune to snake venom. https://t.co/B1E8VqTcBi

.@theplumlinegs wants you to know that it's impossible for the media to ever act in a biased fashion– and that proves how unbiased he is

Listen, if you think there's some kind of "grand conspiracy" between the Gambino and Bonano families, well, you're just crazy, you are!
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) December 18, 2015
.@theplumlineGS If you believe that a politician would EVER demand the media change a story to suit him–man, that's like believing in UFOs!

These are the people you really need to listen to and believe when they swear there can be no bias
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) December 18, 2015
People who tell you things that are incandescently false, such as "pols never work reporters over to sweeten or soften a story"
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) December 18, 2015
The bias is unmissable and announces itself loudly, like a singing strippergram.

Shorter @theplumlinegs: I immediately rush, without facts, to defend members of my guild and cult. But no, that doesn't make us biased.

One more observation that the MSM might find odd if they weren’t so blinded by objectivity:
@AceofSpadesHQ Yet again funny how these "mistakes" ALWAYS cut in one direction.

Strange how that works.
