Three people, including a police officer, were killed after a man opened fire at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs. Four police officers who responded were among the nine others wounded in the attack.
The identity of the suspect, who was taken into custody after surrendering several hours after a standoff began, has been confirmed by police:

Very little information about Dear has been made available, though many have already made assumptions.
