'How can that possibly be true'? WH excuse for why Obama would veto attempt to defund @PPact is 'total BS'

There might be a reason the White House will only admit to seeing “part” of the pope’s speech to Congress today so as to avoid discussion about the call to protect “life at every stage of its development”:

The WH Planned Parenthood veto threat came about an hour after Pope Francis finished speaking.

And why would Obama veto an effort to defund Planned Parenthood?

Planned Parenthood defunding bill would "disproportionately impact low-income individuals” says the White House in statement

Yeah, about that:

.@charliespiering total BS. Affordable Care Act fixed that or Democrats are liars.

So which one is it, White House? We’ll wait for an answer.

Not if they have mandatory affordable healthcare as required by law. https://t.co/LUj7MNmhrW

Good thing Obamacare and nonPP facilities are available to help then. https://t.co/CqkXpK1zWp

If only we had national, mandatory Health Care, this wouldn't be a problem.

Hey, WAIT a second… https://t.co/aeHQcd6SHf

@charliespiering Is this an indictment of Medicaid? Or ACA? Why would #DefundPP cut off access to care for anyone?

… <crickets chirping>

@charliespiering … Because Obamacare doesn't provide adequate coverage?
