St. Louis City Alderman Antonio French opened a #HealSTL office after the shooting of Michael Brown a year ago. Yesterday, protests turned violent (including gunfire at police) and French allowed people to take shelter in his office. Those allowed to take shelter had an odd way of saying thanks to French:
Tonight I let 4 guys run into the #HealSTL office to get away from the gunfire. While I was in the front, they stole laptops and iPads. SMH.
