This morning, after the Obama administration removed Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, diplomatic relations were re-established with the Castro-run nation for the first time since 1961. Embassies were re-opened in Havana and Washington, DC, and this also occurred, as noted by John Kerry adviser Marie Harf:
