Harry Reid is never one to let the facts get in the way of Democrat talking points, and the Amtrak derailment in Philadelphia that was caused by the train traveling 106 mph around a curve with a 50 mph speed limit provided the Senate Minority Leader with another such opportunity:
Yesterday the House voted to underfund Amtrak by another $250 million—a day after that tragic accident. Amtrak needs more, not less.
