'Really now?' You won't believe Obama's advice for Greece (Hint: Self-awareness takes a holiday)

In spite of the fiscal disaster Greece has become, the new Prime Minister of that country, Alexis Tsipras, promised to deliver an “anti-austerity” government. The White House has slammed “mindless austerity” in the United States.


In spite of that seeming agreement on austerity practices, Obama today advised Tsipras how he should proceed:

That’s coming from the spend-happy president of the country that’s over $18 trillion in debt and rising fast.

Maybe Obama could convince the Greek government to hire Lois Lerner out of retirement to instruct them about how to really run a revenue collection service.



As for collecting unpaid taxes, Obama might want to save that lecture for some people a little closer to his home:
