What could go wrong? Brad Thor has an unsettling reminder about who's now regulating the Internet

The FCC has approved President Obama’s net neutrality plan by a 3-2 vote:

Federal regulators moved forward on Thursday with a Net neutrality plan to protect openness on the Internet by treating the online world more like heavily regulated telecommunications markets.

Courts have struck down earlier Net neutrality efforts, saying the FCC lacked authority to impose such rules. So this time around, the FCC chose to categorize high-speed Internet service as a telecommunications service.

The “plan” and the process for its approval was anything but transparent.
