Salon's reminder for 'American Sniper fans' like Kid Rock called out as dishonest garbage

Michael Moore and Seth Rogen have both caused controversy with comments about “American Sniper” and Chris Kyle. Rogen walked back his comments, and Moore also backpedaled and tried to turn his sniper comments into a critique of the Iraq war.

Salon joined the effort to help Moore, et al, spin their original comments:

The article posted at Salon, which originally appeared at The Daily Dot, takes on Chris Kyle/”American Sniper” supporters, including Kid Rock, and bases the criticism on the premise that those who have slammed the movie and Kyle were merely voicing opposition to the war in Iraq.

That’s a tough sell:

Hmm, no mention of Iraq in that, was there?
