'Something to behold’: Here's a dose of 'lifestyle expectation' downsizing hypocrisy you won't believe

The World Economic Forum is starting in Davos, Switzerland. Among the things being discussed by attendees arriving on some 1,700 private jets is global warming and income inequality. On the subject of quality of life, here’s an absolute gem from a Bloomberg article about a man who “amassed a multibillion dollar fortune betting against subprime mortgage securities”:

Here are the two conflicting sentences back to back for purposes of hilarity:

“America’s lifestyle expectations are far too high and need to be adjusted so we have less things and a smaller, better existence,” Greene said in an interview today at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “We need to reinvent our whole system of life.”
