The WaPo author quoted National Review’s Jim Geraghty, who “pondered how the event [attack at the Charlie Hebdo office] would go down in the United States, where more gun ownership could have prompted an ‘armed response from ordinary citizens.'” That’s apparently a radical notion to those who are for an unarmed populace.
