'Went too far when he teamed with Obama’: Rep. Bridenstine will vote against Boehner

When the new Congress reconvenes, Rep. John Boehner will once again be up for election as House Speaker.

Boehner will not have the support of Oklahoma Rep. Jim Bridenstine:

I will not vote for John Boehner. My statement: http://t.co/5F6getbebY #tcot

— Jim Bridenstine (@RepJBridenstine) January 2, 2015

Last month Bridenstine voted no on the $1.1 trillion CRomnibus bill that had the support of Speaker Boehner. Bridenstein now opposes Boehner’s return to the speakership because he willingly “relinquished the power of the purse” to Obama.

Bridenstine is getting encouragement for his stand:

@RepJBridenstine @TomFitton And I have faith that there are a whole bunch of others that will also lead the charge! NO FEAR…
