House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said that former Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis broke the law by soliciting funds for President Obama’s re-election campaign while working in her official capacity:

Issa said then-Secretary Solis made this call to a department subordinate “off the record,” and solicited funds and/or help to organize a fundraiser for the Obama campaign:
