'Hard working people': Russell Crowe opposes boycott of hotels owned by Sultan of Brunei

Celebrities and others have organized a boycott of hotels owned by the Sultan of Brunei in response to the institution of Sharia law in that country. One of Sultan of Brunei’s properties hit by the boycott is the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Russell Crowe, while agreeing with some of his fellow actors and entertainers in opposing Sharia law in Brunei, believes boycotting hotels owned by the Sultan isn’t the way to protest because it hurts the people who work there:
