'When will the adults take over?' Ted Cruz' slam of State Department 'hashtag diplomacy' seconded

The U.S. State Department’s hope that Vladimir Putin will “live by the promise of the hashtag” has been mercilessly mocked, and for good reason.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz had a reminder for the State Department:

Note to the State Department: "The promise of a hashtag" isn't going to make Putin pull out of Ukraine.
