Chuck Todd, NBC’s chief White House correspondent and host of “Daily Rundown” on MSNBC, believes that CNN’s continual use of “breaking news” for stories about the missing Malaysia Airlines jet when there is no “new” information to report threatens to discredit the entire television news industry.

CNN’s ridiculous coverage and speculation about the fate of the Malaysia Airlines 777 aside, Todd’s admission that he could be throwing those stones from inside a glass house was a solid disclaimer.
