Republican Study Committee Executive Director Paul Teller, who the Washington Post described in 2010 as one of the “most influential conservative aides in Congress,” has reportedly been fired:
RSC steering committee members were unaware of Teller's firing before today's meeting. Scalise made the call unilaterally.
