Alec Baldwin: Martin Bashir's comments 'bound to happen on any such program'

MSNBC reportedly gave Alec Baldwin the boot for things he did not say on the air, but Martin Bashir still has his job after disgusting on-air comments about Sarah Palin for which Bashir subsequently apologized.

Baldwin defended MSNBC for keeping Bashir and basically said it could have happened to anybody:

Hey, stuff like this could have been said by any host! Except not really.

Baldwin also may have inadvertently discovered, albeit too late, a slogan for his former MSNBC program: “What’s the diff?”

Well, for starters, if Fox News went off the air as opposed to MSNBC, a lot more people would notice.
