We have arrived in Bizarro World, and the Constitution seems to have been misplaced.
So, now Barry's doing by executive order the very thing he villainized conservatives for attempting to do during HIS government shutdown.

President Obama, after demonizing Republicans for asking for a one-year delay in the Obamacare individual mandate which led to a government shutdown, announced today he’ll order insurance policies that were cancelled per the Obamacare law to be reinstated for one year.

Others also wonder where there’s legal justification for such a move:

Fox News’ Brit Hume had some interesting questions as well:
Obama says status quo pre-Obamacare "was not working at all." Then why were 70% happy w/health coverage & 80% with their health care.

Insurance companies cancelled policies b/c they didn't meet law's requirements. So how does he suspend those requirements w/o changing law?
— Brit Hume (@brithume) November 14, 2013
@JohnJHarwood So is he suspending penalties for non ACA-compliant policies? If so, where is the legal authority for that?
— Brit Hume (@brithume) November 14, 2013
The legal authority for this resides in the same place Obama’s “if you like your plan you can keep your plan” is kept.
I mean… this is absolute BS. Obama cannot just tell insurers they can violate Federal law and expect them to do it.

We’re guessing that’s exactly what the White House is thinking.
Update:
Rep. Jim Bridenstine nails it:
