81-18: Senate approves bill to fund government and increase debt ceiling

The bill, which would fund the government through mid-January and increase the debt ceiling through early February, will now move on to the House, which is expected to vote tonight.

Update: The House has also passed the bill. It now moves on for Obama’s signature.
