Pathetic, but totally believable.
If the GOP wants to convince President Obama to negotiate on a hasty resolution to the government shutdown, they’ll find a way to defund the military golf courses Obama is fond of using on weekends:

Military golf courses, as well as Camp David, will remain funded even as open-air war memorials are closed down and sports telecasts for troops overseas are cut off:
DC military golf courses remain open! Military keeps Camp David open, cuts NFL, baseball coverage to troops overseas http://t.co/hEsjnPPhdQ

Many are incensed that the administration can’t find money for the troops to watched televised sporting events overseas or keep unmanned privately funded memorials open to the public, but they can find the money to keep Camp David and golf courses open:
Heartless. White House has issued an order to barricade military cemeteries so vets can't visit but keep Obama's military golf course open.

@jaketapper @TheLeadCNN Why are privately funded open air DC memorials locked up, but Camp David is open for business?

@bloodless_coup Hey! That is a great idea, if the WWII Vets are blocked from THEIR memorial then Obama should be blocked from golf

Keeping Obama from the golf course could be the only way of ensuring a fast end to the shutdown.
