Country star John Rich on why Miss Kansas should have been a shoo-in for 'Miss America' title

Moments ago, the Miss America title went to Miss New York, but country star John Rich was pulling for Miss Kansas.

There was some speculation that the traits John Rich found attractive might have not been assets in the pageant:

Miss Kansas, a gun-toting, deer-hunting, military veteran was America's choice – but not the liberal Miss America judges' choice.
