Labor leaders have been experiencing “what have we done” moments as the realization of the impact of Obamacare hits home. In July, the heads of three major U.S. labor unions wrote a letter to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid expressing their concern that Obamacare “will destroy the very health and wellbeing of our members.”
In order to seek a “fix,” the White House hosted a meeting of labor leaders today:
Labor leaders – including AFL-CIO Pres Rich Trumka – emerge from meeting with Pres Obama but decline any comments at press stakeout.

We’ve discovered a new way to phrase lobbying for an Obamacare waiver: “Problem solving”:
Per @ByronTau: Trumka leaving WH: "good meeting…continuing to work on problem solving." Does problem solving=union #ObamaCare carve-out?

Who was at the White House union head meeting? We don’t have the full list thanks to the transparency we’ve come to expect:

And now they’ll be offered a way around the law they lobbied hard to pass while everybody else is stuck with it.
Update:
Or will they? We’ll have to wait and see how the negotiations play out.
