Serial tweet deleter Alec Baldwin's support for attack against Syria disappears

The most overworked thing in America is Alec Baldwin’s “delete” key, and it got another workout over the weekend. We may never know for sure, but the above tweet might have been the comparison that caused Alec Baldwin to delete a brief series of tweets after expressing support and justification for a U.S. military strike on Syria.

People have been wondering where the Hollywood anti-war crowd has been during talk of a U.S. military strike on Syria. With notable exceptions, the silence on this issue from the Hollywood Left has been deafening.

Many hours before the above question, Alec Baldwin did weigh in on Syria in support of a military strike. Baldwin deleted the tweets, but they were re-tweeted and quoted before the 30 Rock actor and host of MSNBC’s upcoming show “Up Late with Alec Baldwin” could delete them.

Baldwin received this reaction after coming out very briefly “in favor of striking Assad”:

In response, Baldwin agreed that the country is “war weary” from past “bogus wars,” but claimed a war with Syria would be “different,” which brought this response:
