Jesse Jackson calls Florida an 'apartheid state'; Bonus points: On Nelson Mandela's birthday

A two-fer Thursday from the Reverend Jesse Jackson!

Jackson’s statement on CNN today of “the inclination to boycott Florida, stop conventions, to isolate Florida as a kind of apartheid state” if the DOJ doesn’t act against George Zimmerman wouldn’t be less ridiculous on any other day. However, given the fact that this is Nelson Mandela’s birthday, many tweeters thought Jackson’s accusation was, well, extra stupid and over the top:
