On Zimmerman: Carney says "it would be inappropriate" for the pres to express a view on whether DOJ should pursue civil rights charges.

When it comes to Jay Carney, the comedy never stops! The president who, if he had a son, he would “look just like Trayvon,” now seems to be making curious distance between himself and any possible upcoming DOJ investigation.
Among many on Twitter, there was a predictable air of skepticism that Obama won’t offer the Department of Justice any guidance on the Zimmerman investigation:
@markknoller Sure.

@markknoller Why would that stop him now?

@markknoller but it is appropriate for BHO to comment on other police investigations? #Hypocrite

@markknoller but it's okay for Obama to shoot off his mouth before Zimmerman was ever charged.

This brief tweet perhaps sums it up best:
@markknoller LMAO

The White House claiming Obama won’t involve himself in the DOJ decision process isn’t surprising considering it’s hard enough to get the Eric Holder to admit involvement in the DOJ decision process.
