Fortunately the president wasn’t injured, but it’s now being reported that Biden stumbled over a sandbag that was there for… some reason:

Everybody knows if this was a Republican president it would be good for days’ worth of media hyperventilating about the 25th Amendment and continuous “the president isn’t fit to serve” hot takes, but luckily for Biden he’s got the protective “D” after his name. That’s why NBC News’ presidential historian Michael Beschloss can remind everybody that presidents falling, or even getting tired after a long run, aren’t at all unusual:
