Yesterday the Washington Post had some news about the FBI “misusing” a surveillance tool in 2020 and 2021:

But that kind of story is not preventing the WaPo from helping the Left try to discredit the FBI whistleblowers (who CNN described as “self-described whistleblowers”)
Even though the Post has reported the kind of thing the whistleblowers have alleged, the instinct to frame the story in a way that earns lib approval is just too great:

Reporters from the Post (and New York Times) received Pulitzers for stories about something that was completely fabricated a few years ago, and there are Pulitzers possibly to be had by getting to the bottom of this FBI story but most “journalists” just don’t seem interested.
“Democracy Dies in Darkness,” WaPo likes to preen.
And yet, WAPO is trying to silence the people who are shining a spotlight on the wrongdoing of the government.

The Washington Post doesn’t like it when others do the job the WaPo should be doing, but only when a Democrat is in office. These whistleblowers would be on television every night if Trump was still president and the allegations were about him.
