As you know, much of the media (along with Big Tech and others) spent a good deal of time in 2020 and 2021 calling “disinformation” on the Hunter Biden laptop story. If some in media weren’t calling the story outright false, they were saying they haven’t seen any evidence the story was true (mostly because they refused to look for it).
Richard Grenell spotted Christiane Amanpour doing the “journalism” thing, CNN-style:
Amanpour is a third world propagandist. A complete Democrat first.
How embarrassing for CNN International. @cnni https://t.co/qiSm326arO

The video from October of 2020 shows Amanpour going to great lengths to avoid taking the RNC’s Liz Harrington’s remarks about Hunter Biden’s laptop seriously while ironically claiming to be a journalist who “follows the facts”:
“I’m a journalist and a reporter and I follow the facts,” says @amanpour. Except when those facts get in the way of my narrative. pic.twitter.com/cWX6e7Ttge

This aged horribly (for yet another media figure):
.@LizRNC confronts @camanpour about Hunter Biden's alleged laptop: "Why don't you want to report this?
I would love if you guys would start doing that digging and start doing that verification."
Amanpour: "We're not going to do your work for you."https://t.co/vwgZt9dFRQ pic.twitter.com/usCOiGupkW

Another “journalist” covered in glory.
The smugness is beyond aggravating. It’s sad because she was a journalist once and this is her legacy.

Wow… Amanpour had to be schooled on what her job is… https://t.co/0BhXxBD8TT

So many of them obviously believe their job is carrying water for the Democrats.
Not a journalist, follows facts she wants to see. https://t.co/do6z9mGkNt

And that the Democrats want to see.
Here’s a partial excerpt, via Grabien:
HARRINGTON: “— he’s doing shady deals —”
AMANPOUR: “Liz, as you know —”
HARRINGTON: “— with Communist China and you’re comfortable.”
AMANPOUR: “— perfectly well, I’m a journalist and a reporter and I follow the facts. And there has never been any issues in terms of corruption. Now, let me ask you this. Yesterday, the FBI —”
HARRINGTON: “Wait, wait, wait.”
AMANPOUR: “The FBI —”
HARRINGTON: “How do you know that?”
AMANPOUR: “I’m talking about reporting and any evidence. I’m talking to you now —”
HARRINGTON: “I would love if you guys would start doing that digging and start doing that verification.”
The New York Times did the verification, but well after the presidential election was over.
