The field of Democrats running for that party’s presidential nomination has been saying plenty about the Trump administration and coronavirus preparedness, and Rep. Dan Crenshaw and Brit Hume are among those who have shared an AP fact check about how some Dems are distorting the truth:
There are Democrats outright lying about the President’s response to coronavirus. Bloomberg is actually running ads that say CDC funding was cut – & it’s patently false.
There is no need to politicize this important issue, but they can’t help themselves. https://t.co/LGBEGButJ2

Is there no issue serious enough that politicians won’t make false claims about it for political benefit? https://t.co/4mBov3MkGE

Another day brings with it more 2020 Dems (the fact check focuses specifically on false claims being made by Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg) pushing a bogus narrative.
AP fact check finds, despite claims from some prominent Democrats, CDC/NIH funding has not been cut under Trump. They say though Trump's proposed budget called for public health cuts, they were overruled by Congress, and funding has increased.https://t.co/1ZUQE59by1

The Democrats still go by the words of the former Chicago mayor and Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel:
