HuffPost reporter VERY alarmed that Senate Republicans keep confirming Trump's 'unqualified' judicial nominees

As the Democrats in the House obsess over impeachment, it’s business-as-usual in the Senate, especially when it comes to confirming President Trump’s judicial nominees:

Republicans have already confirmed FIVE of Trump's lifetime federal judges deemed unqualified for the job after the ABA's thorough review, which includes interviews with dozens of each of their colleagues.

It's rare and embarrassing when any judicial nominee gets a "not qualified" ABA rating.

For context: In his entire 8 years in office, Obama nominated 0 judicial nominees who got this rating.

In 3 years, Trump has nominated 9 and gotten 5 confirmed.

A couple of years ago, Sen. Ted Cruz said the ABA “should not be treated as a fair or impartial arbiter of merit,” so perhaps Republicans in the Senate don’t take the ABA’s opinion as serious as the liberal media and others.
