Confirmed: It’s a ‘red letter day for media coining new toned-down euphemisms for ‘blackface’
The media’s reporting on the Justin Trudeau controversy has evolved between saying the Canadian PM appeared on three separate occasions in either “blackface” or “brownface.” Slate had a headline that merely said Trudeau had apologized for “dressing up as Alladin at a school party.”
