As we told you last night, James Comey addressed the anti-Trump texts between FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page by saying “it made us all look bad,” but the former FBI director explained that political bias on the job wasn’t tolerated and was isolated to those instances. Comey also made his personal opinion about Trump quite clear yet again:

"You cannot have a President who's a chronic liar," says fmr. FBI Dir. James Comey.
The President can't be "someone who lies constantly," he says. "I thought Republicans agreed with that. It's one of the reasons I'm no longer a Republican." #ComeyTownHall https://t.co/VTSLGm1Jq6 pic.twitter.com/ak5rfDmJZX

Did Comey ever bring his opinions to work with him? Comey’s tone could easily be confused for a Strzok/Page text.
Says the guy who deliberately leaked classified information in order to trigger an investigation into a crime that never occurred, based on a dossier the FBI knew was error-laden. https://t.co/WiZbzcIZzS

That hole Comey’s digging himself into is getting mighty deep, he could strike oil down there.
