D'OH! Sen. Brian Schatz asked AG Bill Barr to rephrase 'spying' (and might wish he hadn't)

Attorney General Bill Barr testified to a Senate subcommittee today, and one of the bigger stories to come from that was when the AG said it’s his belief the FBI under the previous administration spied on the Trump campaign and plans to look into it.

Democrat Sen. Brian Schatz thought “spying” was too much, and gave Barr a chance to choose other words. Schatz probably should have let it go:
