Tax Day is fast approaching, and we’ve seen many Democrats in Congress trying to use a reduction in the size of tax returns taxpayers are seeing as some sort of proof that they’re either paying higher taxes these days or didn’t get a tax cut. CNBC’s John Harwood dropped this report to help refuel the Dem narrative:
no wonder Trump/GOP tax-cut is so unpopular:
just 17% of Americans think their taxes were cut, new NBC/WSJ poll showshttps://t.co/WHKme38Th8

So it has to be mentioned:
Hey, maybe media outlets could have, I don't know, reported that the TCJA lowered taxes for 80 percent of households? https://t.co/uEDuho9rMc

Yes gosh how did that happen. https://t.co/bxI8WJ4Yg5

How indeed!
If only there were some profession whose job it was to report the news and share the truth.
Sadly, no such industry exists https://t.co/8iapTtvjTg

Look at most of tweets he had regarding it. He's such a hack https://t.co/0gNBZEB4Vs

So most people don’t think they got a tax cut? Where would they have gotten that idea?

Hoo boy! One more time…
The shot:
no wonder Trump/GOP tax-cut is so unpopular:
just 17% of Americans think their taxes were cut, new NBC/WSJ poll showshttps://t.co/WHKme38Th8
— John Harwood (@JohnJHarwood) April 8, 2019
And the chaser from last year:
there’s no new middle-class tax cut. there’s no terrorist caravan. there’s no GOP effort to save protections for pre-existing conditions
all these things are made up
— John Harwood (@JohnJHarwood) October 23, 2018
Well isn’t that special!?
And he'll never put together the reason as to why that number is at 17%

Definitely not.
