As you know, Democrat Stacey Abrams has broken Hillary Clinton’s pre-2016 election code of “questioning the legitimacy of elections is a threat to democracy” by claiming to be the real winner of Georgia’s 2018 gubernatorial election, but for voter suppression, etc.
With that in mind, Abrams was on the Joy Reid show and expressed pride in this detail about the vote in Georgia last year:
.@staceyabrams: I ran a race where we tripled Latino, Asian-Pacific Islander turnout, increased youth participation by 139%, increased black turnout by 40%… the highest share of white voters in a generation… Winning… is about building the largest coalition possible. #AMJoy pic.twitter.com/yghanusziX

Abrams is proud of the increased minority and youth turnout, which sort of collides head-on with the Left’s narrative for her loss:

What could it be?
So all these groups voted in bigger numbers but she claims she lost due to voter suppression. Anyone else have whiplash? Think she just dunked her own argument. ?♀️https://t.co/MhbNlDPwBV

HMM:
Wait: all that voter increase AND voter suppression?

Abrams: "I achieved record minority turnout."
Also Abrams: "I lost because the minority vote was suppressed."
This is not a serious person. https://t.co/6P1S1sGJ9J— Joseph Ashby (@JosephAshbyShow) April 7, 2019
Sore loser giving lectures on how to win….
Also, isn’t it weird how she keeps citing the record turnout for the race while blaming her official loss on voter suppression? https://t.co/IIeoHv67y6

Stacey: "I lost because of minority voter suppression."
Also Stacey: "I set records for minority turnout."— Todd Kron (@Toddkron) April 8, 2019
Right, but there was JUST enough “voter suppression” to cost her the election. https://t.co/IrFcXQ5QGf

Winning is about getting more votes. Which she didn't.

Womp womp.
Who is going to break it to her that she didn’t win? https://t.co/OAYLmdriOj
