THUD: Brian Stelter shares take pinning Covington story on 'America in 2019,' trips HARD over 'journalism in 2019'

Is referring to all that’s happened surrounding the overblown, bogus and flat-out rabid reactions to the Covington story the media helped spread like wildfire as “America in 2019” a way to make it a dig at Trump even in the wake of journo malfeasance? CNN’s Brian Stelter shared a letter purportedly from a TV executive that’s supposed to sum it all up:

Well, that’s ONE way to spin what’s happened. However, it’s actually more evidence of the state of “journalism” in 2019 than “America” in 2019, as Stelter was reminded:

A sizable portion of the media will just refuse to acknowledge the point.

The level of denial is nothing short of amazing, though not incredibly surprising considering the track record.
