Buzzfeed’s “bombshell” about Trump, Michael Cohen and Trump Tower was another scoop of chum in the water for the Resistance sharks in the media, and before Robert Mueller’s office threw ice cold water on the hottest story of the day, CNN and MSNBC were already envisioning the future, and it involved constant use of the “I”-word:
WaPo Saturday: "Mueller’s denial, according to people familiar with the matter, aims to make clear that none of those statements in [Buzzfeed] story are accurate.”
Friday: "Impeachment" was said more than 200 times on CNN & MSNBC after each news org couldn't confirm the story.— Joe Concha (@JoeConchaTV) January 19, 2019
This is impressive. And by “impressive” we mean desperate and sad:
Don't forget, the media was already calling for Trump's impeachment following the (now disputed) BuzzFeed report. (Montage below.) pic.twitter.com/c1HF0FbHXA

The media’s ability to coordinate a message is indeed impressive!
This is almost as beautiful as the video montage of lefty media types losing their lunch when Trump was elected. https://t.co/ITFhaNLU7K

Do we're including CNN in the Media still? The onion is more credible

Dang…another swing and miss!!!

The media has swung and missed so many times they’ve dislocated their shoulders at this point, but that doesn’t mean they won’t have the strength to swing again when the next “bombshell” is released.
