Another nominee for the “this tweet didn’t age well” Hall of Fame has been spotted, and this one comes from Dem Rep. Jerrold Nadler today and it’s in comparison to a tweet from last year:

Here’s Rep. Nadler in March of last year saying Trump should get rid of Sessions:
Good morning. In case anyone forgot, Jeff Sessions must resign as AG. He cannot possibly lead DOJ to promote trust & rule of law.

And today after the news broke that Sessions resigned at the president’s request:
Americans must have answers immediately as to the reasoning behind @realDonaldTrump removing Jeff Sessions from @TheJusticeDept. Why is the President making this change and who has authority over Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation? We will be holding people accountable. https://t.co/weykMuiCxm

We expected nothing less:
This is why I love Twitter last year he must resign now that he has resigned it must be part of a cover up LMAO https://t.co/lCLjEkaAUu

You can't have it both ways moron. https://t.co/uwAUmuCvWB

And yet that’s what many Dems strive for as it pertains to anything Trump does.
