Attn. Founders! ThinkProgress' Ian Millhiser has declared US Constitution a failure in light of recent events

Donald Trump remains president and over the weekend Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court, all of which has caused ThinkProgress’ justice editor to make this declaration:

The Constitution of the United States has failedhttps://t.co/V29TwAVQ1F pic.twitter.com/VHY4Fp6vqe

It’s correct that it “failed,” provided that sentence finishes with…

Bingo!

“The Constitution didn’t work in my favor; therefore, it is inherently flawed” https://t.co/XzR7VT8lTk

“I’m not getting my way so the entire system should be burned to the ground” is, shockingly, not a compelling argument. https://t.co/WRh1BGisKJ

And we expected nothing less.

Maybe you failed it, Mr. Millhiser. Just a thought. https://t.co/M68oP2kMaR

There’s always a way to escape:

There are plenty of other Countries that don't have the US Constitution, try those ??✈️? https://t.co/O7aFNmpySA
