Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse has spent a considerable amount of time performing a deep-dive analysis of Brett Kavanaugh’s high school yearbook, which included one word in particular (and Whitehouse wasn’t buying Kavanaugh’s explanation about what it meant). Not to be outdone, former Hillary campaign spokesman and founder of a progressive group opposing Kavanaugh’s nomination, Brian Fallon, has co-authored an op-ed at Politico calling for the FBI to investigate the same word:
Opinion: For its investigation into Kavanaugh to be comprehensive, the FBI must also get to the bottom of what “boofing” means https://t.co/iIhuzkPVk7

Op-ed from me & @cdkang76:
Why the FBI should investigate 'boofing' — and the other petty lies Kavanaugh may have told the Senate under oathhttps://t.co/LQaCCkAMl4

So it’s come to this?

Real life is impossible to parody anymore.
Spending taxpayers dollars to get to the bottom of a inside joke from high school is so 2018. https://t.co/k3sYtUsbZa

So many Dems want the FBI to investigate things that have nothing to do with the original allegation. Big surprise.
