With the confirmation hearing for Brett Kavanaugh set to begin in the Senate early next month, Dems keep ramping up the rhetoric. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand served up this defiant tweet today:
I won’t let Kavanaugh overturn Roe v. Wade and undermine every step we’ve taken toward equality in this country. I’ve been fighting his confirmation from day one, and I’m not going to let up. But neither can you. I need you to stay strong, stay determined and keep fighting.

Different day, same discredited talking points. For starters…
Kavanaugh has said it’s the law, Kirsten. He has said he has no intention of overturning the law.
You know this.
It’s easy to pretend you can win a fight that doesn’t really exist ain’t it? https://t.co/jodQLKGIQM

So brave of you to take a stand against something when it's already been established that it won't be happening.
Might as well have tweeted, "I won't let Kavanaugh murder interns with his bare hands." https://t.co/ttrjB4wnNJ

He won’t overturn it. Stop lying, it’s getting annoying. https://t.co/sgb3sYI2eT

She’s got a narrative and she’s sticking to it!
Overturning Roe v. Wade won't outlaw abortion, it will make abortion laws go back to the states, as it should be. Whether or not you're in favor of abortion is irrelevant to the fact that Roe v. Wade was an awful legal decision.

Pro-choice liberals like Gillibrand often say how the majority of the public is on their side and yet are reluctant to make it into a ballot issue:
So you think the ppl are too stupid to vote on the subject of abortion? Interesting stance for a senate candidate to take

And then there’s Gillibrand’s “equality” whopper:
Killing babies is NOT equality. https://t.co/5MrmAYkmQV

When equality is gained by killing our offspring, what do we really gain? https://t.co/h0rjkewhum

It depends on what your definition of “equality” is.
If they put 10% of their strawman building into an actual platform, maybe they can win some seats. https://t.co/1lrkl8fH4o
