As Twitchy reported yesterday, after anti-“white people” tweets (and other hateful tweets) previously published by the New York Times’ newest editorial board member came to light, the paper came to her defense, explaining that she was defending herself:

So it was all in response to online “harassment”? Tammy Bruce spotted something that makes the Times’ excuse laughable:
Weird, @nytimes & Jeong said her racist tweets were *satire* mocking people harassing her, yet here she is speechifying at Harvard about how awful white men are ? HT @RealJamesWoods https://t.co/zW8jPvYBdR

It sure doesn’t look like Jeong’s responding to “online harassment” here (nor did it in most of her tweets, by the way):

STILL responding to online harassment, maybe? *Eye roll*
But but but I'm sure this was a satirical speech. Or something. https://t.co/EG4wYsuFIy

That might be the Times’ follow-up excuse.
