'Disgusting'! Navy SEAL takes Rep. Cohen to the woodshed for wishing he could give Peter Strzok a Purple Heart (Plus: Guess who Cohen's blaming)

During the House hearing where FBI agent Peter Strzok was being questioned by members of two committees, Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen said something to Strzok that earned him plenty of backlash:

Specifically, in praise of the Strzok, Cohen told the anti-Trump FBI agent, “If I could give you a Purple Heart, I would.”

Navy SEAL Robert O’Neill is among those slamming Cohen’s comment:

Cohen’s since backpedaled, saying he made the “wrong choice of words,” but we wouldn’t call that an “apology.”

Cohen has since backtracked a little, but now he’s pinning some of the blame for his ridiculous remark on… Fox News:
