Billionaire Dem donor Tom Steyer has written a letter to DC Democrats telling them to take a pledge to impeach President Trump:
Trump is unfit for office, and we shouldn't be afraid to say so. Time to impeach. https://t.co/1Y1eBQzJYX

Somebody’s getting impatient. But on what charge does Steyer want Trump impeached if Dems take back control of Congress? “Clear and present danger to the republic,” apparently:
In his message, Mr. Steyer described Mr. Trump as a “clear and present danger to the republic” and called on Democrats to pledge that they would seek to remove him from office if they take control of Congress next year.
What Steyer would then do after Mike Pence was sworn in is anybody’s guess.

Steyer “spent more than $91 million supporting Democrats in the 2016 elections” according to the New York Times. “Shame if something were to happen to future donations” seems to be his message to Dems up for re-election next year.
