This morning, a judge acquitted a Baltimore police officer who was among the six charged in the death of Freddie Gray:
Baltimore Circuit Judge Barry Williams cleared Officer Edward Nero of charges of assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment.
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake quickly put out a statement that seeks to quell any potential unrest by saying that the officer isn’t in the clear just yet:

Tweeters noticed that Rawlings-Blake didn’t offer up spaces to destroy for people unhappy with this verdict:
@MayorSRB Prosecuting all six officers was ridiculous. You wasted taxpayer money by overcharging them.

@michellemalkin @MayorSRB oh NOW she promises to protect neighborhoods? No "giving them space to destroy" this time?
