Former 'Car Czar' Rattner agrees: Now is the perfect time to raise gas tax

Gas prices in some areas are now below $2 a gallon and continue to drop for the time being. Some in Congress, including GOP Sen. Bob Corker, want to jump on the opportunity to tack on more taxes while the price is low, and Obama’s former “Car Czar” likes the idea:

Then when the price goes back up, as it inevitably will, there would be an additional burden on consumers.
